Ascendus Law Partners Welcomes Anahita Mukherjee as Counsel

Ascendus Law Partners is pleased to announce the joining of Anahita Mukherjee as Counsel, strengthening the firm’s media and entertainment practice.

Anahita is a specialist media and entertainment lawyer with nearly a decade of in-house experience at some of India’s most prominent studios and networks including Fox Star Studios, Disney Star, The Walt Disney Company and Maddock Films. Her work has spanned the full spectrum of content deals, from development through to distribution covering chain of title, rights availability, production and co-production documentation, talent engagements, content licensing, music syndication, brand placements and distribution and syndication agreements across theatrical, television and digital platforms.

Anahita graduated from Symbiosis Law School, Pune with a B.B.A. LL.B. degree.

Commenting on Anahita’s joining, Vasundhra Minocha, Founding Partner at Ascendus Law Partners, said, “Anahita has spent a decade on the other side of the table, inside studios and networks, structuring content deals from development through to distribution.
