Snabbit Raises $5.5 Million to Transform On-Demand Home Services in India
Mumbai-based on-demand home service platform Snabbit has announced raising $5.5 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Elevation Capital, with participation from Nexus Venture Partners and angel investors Vidit Aatrey, Sanjeev Barnwal, Gaurav Munjal, and Niraj Singh. The funding will accelerate Snabbit’s plans to expand its footprint and enhance its operations across India.
This comes after the startup previously secured $1 million in seed funding from Nexus Venture Partners in early 2024.
What Does Snabbit Do?
Founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal, former chief of staff at Zepto, Snabbit connects households with professional service providers for essential home services like cleaning, dishwashing, and laundry. Its standout feature is a 15-minute arrival promise, making it one of the fastest solutions in the market for urgent tasks.
Snabbit’s full-stack model sets it apart. The company manages the entire process, from sourcing and training service professionals to overseeing their work. This ensures consistent quality while offering workers steady income, health insurance, and accident coverage. By addressing long-standing challenges in the fragmented home services sector, Snabbit is empowering its workforce and building a reliable service ecosystem.
Aiming for Growth and Expansion
Currently operational in select neighborhoods of Mumbai, Snabbit has quickly garnered thousands of loyal customers through word-of-mouth referrals. With the fresh infusion of funds, the startup plans to:
- Expand its services to new cities.
- Strengthen its workforce.
- Enhance operational efficiency and technology.
“India offers immense untapped potential for high-frequency home services,” said Aayush Agarwal, Founder and CEO of Snabbit. “We’ve successfully created a hyperlocal service model that combines speed, reliability, and affordability, and we’re excited to scale it across the country.”
What Investors Are Saying
Manish Advani, Vice President at Elevation Capital, described Snabbit as a pioneer in the home services market.
“Snabbit’s platform is a game-changer, offering quick, on-demand, and affordable services through a hyperlocal network. Their innovative approach addresses consumer needs while empowering service professionals. We’re thrilled to support them as they scale from Mumbai to a pan-India presence,” Advani said.
Suvir Sujan, Managing Director at Nexus Venture Partners, emphasized Snabbit’s strategic focus.
“By operating in dense residential clusters, Snabbit is disrupting the home services industry at a hyperlocal level. Their model benefits both consumers seeking reliable solutions and professionals gaining better opportunities,” Sujan remarked.
Redefining Convenience in Home Services
With its rapid service, robust operational model, and focus on workforce empowerment, Snabbit is poised to lead the on-demand home services revolution in India. The startup’s vision of providing reliable, high-quality services in record time resonates with the evolving needs of urban households.
As Snabbit expands its reach, it is not only transforming everyday convenience for customers but also setting a new standard for service professionals by offering stability, training, and benefits. With strong investor backing and a proven model, the future looks promising for this innovative startup.
